• Contact form: name, work email, optional company, message — sent through the site's contact endpoint.
• License/purchase data: email and license key material needed to issue and validate access.
• Technical data: server/CDN logs (IP, user-agent, timestamps) for security and operation.

03Purposes & legal bases

• Replying to enquiries and providing licenses — pre-contractual measures / contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Security, abuse prevention, license validation — legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f).
• Legal obligations where applicable (art. 6.1.c).

04Cookies & tracking

No advertising, profiling or third-party analytics cookies. Only strictly technical cookies/storage may be set by the hosting/CDN stack (e.g. Cloudflare) or the license flow.

05Retention

Contact messages: up to 24 months. License records: for the duration of the license plus statutory retention periods. Technical logs per provider policy.

06Recipients

Hosting/CDN providers and email tooling process data strictly to run the service. No sale of personal data, no sharing for third-party marketing.

07Your rights

You may exercise GDPR arts. 15–22 rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection) by writing to [email protected]. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali or your local authority.

08Sovereign / self-hosted deployments

For Sovereign on-premise installations, runtime telemetry stays on your infrastructure: the customer is the controller of its own deployment data. This notice covers guardian.cam website interactions only.
